FASTING THE PAST…….
In the last blog I made a statement that the only way that my past can go into my future is it must go only as a testimony…..those words resounded around the country…… Today I would like to deal with why we get stuck in the past. Is it simply something that happened to you ??
We must first break down the four stages of how we operate…….
The four stages of operation is:
- BRAIN
- THOUGHTS
- MINDSET
- DECISIONS
When you consider the fact that it takes all four of these elements to produce behavior….then we understand that we must take responsibility for each stage by making sure there is no defect in either part………because if it is………my character will be considered dishonorable.
So how this works is…… our brain is where we process our thinking……….when we get a thought it hits our brain first……..depending on the condition of our brain it will began to cause us to establish our thoughts………when we have landed our thoughts ….it is our thoughts that determines our mindset………from our mindset we do this little thing called….make a decision…….our mindset…determines what decisions are made……….why? Because before we can make that decision….it must come from three places…
a. genetics….( which is inherited characteristics…)
b. past experiences
c.preprograming….( to program into something in advance before use)
When my decision is made from the place of these three areas ….this then will determine our behavior……….
So when we see things come out of us….it is not spontanious as we would have ourselves to believe…….it has gone through an entire process before there is an outward manifestation………..
The process is soooooo intense…that when the brain goes through this process it causes grooves…or impressions to land on the brain so that if you died and they took your brain out and laid it on the table they can determine your behavior by your brain……..
They can remove a jewish brain and tell that person was jewish……they have yet been able to classify a christian brain because we are all over the place in our emotions……….
We have yet to fully developed a spiritual genetic….past experiences, preprogramming system within us to the strength that we become stable in our behavior……..uuuuuuummmm something to think about huh……
This is why it was important enough for God to require that we be transformed by the renewing of your mind….because the ability to change your life is in the power of changing your mindset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In order to get a new mindset…we must control what comes into our thoughts….and when it lands in the thought realm….there must be standards already established so that the thought process can establish us in the right mindset….causing us to make the right decisions in order to produce the right behavior…………wow…………
In order for us to be transformed……we must breakdown every stage and when we get finished…we will pull it all together so we can see where our individual errors are……..
The renewing of the mind is to:
A. RE-ESTABLISH A RELATIONSHIP ( RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF AND GOD)
B. REPLACE SOMETHING THAT IS BROKEN OR WORN OUT……..( FROM GOSSIP AND MESS)
C. TO RESUME AN ACTIVITY AFTER AN INTERRUPTION( MEANING IT IS TIME TO PICK YOUR MIND UP)
****SET IT INTO YOUR FUTURE AND FINISH GOING WHERE YOU WERE HEADED IN DESTINY BEFORE YOU WERE INTERRUPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!****
THIS IS WHERE WE ARE HEADED…. THE STAGE OF BEING….RENEWED…SO THAT WE MAY BE REDEFINED!!!!!!!!!!!!
